I would like a use for it. I'm not buying a replacement battery compartment, NOT advertising it on E Bay for $5, and Not simply throwing it out. Just thinking if any person has some Inventive strategy perhaps to show it into a foundation scanner, or fitting it into some weird product. Bottom line, it really works on AC, and I don't need to toss it
